Die Strukturierung der Ergebnisse im Projektionsbericht erfolgt gemäß den internationalen Konventionen zur Treibhausgas-Berichterstattung im so genannten gemeinsamen Berichtsformat. Zentrales Dokument für die Darstellung der Klimaschutzziele in Deutschland ist der Klimaschutzplan 2050 der jedoch eine andere Strukturierung aufweist. Aus diesem Grund werden in diesem Bericht die Ergebnisse des Projektionsbericht 2019 in der Struktur des Klimaschutzplans dargestellt. Der Bericht erläutert zunächst die Methodik der sektoralen Zuordnung im Projektionsbericht sowie im Klimaschutzplan und stellt diese tabellarisch dar. Darüber hinaus werden die Ergebnisse des Projektionsberichts im Format des Klimaschutzplans tabellarisch dargestellt und die wesentlichen Treiber diskutiert. Es handelt sich um die Ergebnisse im Mit-Maßnahmen-Szenario (MMS) das die Wirkung aller bereits beschlossenen Maßnahmen projiziert. Die Energiewirtschaft stellt den größten Sektor dar; in diesem Sektor wird die größte absolute Reduktion der Emissionen zwischen 1990 und 2035 verzeichnet. Für die gesamten Treibhausgasemissionen (ohne Landnutzung Landnutzungsänderungen und Forstwirtschaft und internationalen Luft- und Seeverkehr) wird im Vergleich zu 1990 bis 2020 eine Minderung von 33 3 % bis 2030 von 41 7 % und bis 2035 44 3 % projiziert.

The structure of the results of the Projection Report follows the international requirements for the reporting of greenhouse gases in the so-called Common Reporting Format. The Climate Action Plan 2050 as the core document for displaying climate protection goals in Germany features a different structure though. For this reason this reports contains the results of the Projection Report in the structure of the Climate Action Plan. This report outlines the methodology for sectoral allocation in the Projection Report and in the Climate Action Plan and displays the allocation in tabular format. In addition the results of the Projection Report are presented in the structure of the Climate Action Plan in tabular format and key drivers are discussed. These are the results of the With-Measures-Scenario (WMS MMS in its German acronym) which considers all measures that have already been adopted. The energy sector is the largest sector; this sector features the largest emission reductions in absolute terms between 1990 and 2035. There is a projected reduction of total greenhouse gas emissions (excluding land use land use change and forestry international aviation and maritime transport) compared to 1990 of 33 3 % by 2020 41 7 % by 2030 and of 44 3 % by 2035.
