Die funktionell einwandfreie Harnabteilung nach Nierentransplantation ist eine wichtige Voraussetzung für die stabile Transplantatfunktion. Neben immunologischen, infektiösen und vaskulären Problemen stellen die urologischen Komplikationen eine große Gefahr für die Transplantatfunktion dar. Es wurden die Daten von 794 nierentransplantierten Patienten, die in der Zeit von 1983 bis 1997 im NTZ Halle transplantieren wurden, auf urologische Komplikationen (Urinfisteln, Ureterstenosen) retrospektiv analysiert. Untersucht wurden unter anderem die Einfluss bestimmte Faktoren wie das Alter der Patienten, Grunderkrankungen, Länge der kalten Ischämiezeit, Erst- oder Folgetransplantationen und HLA-Kompatibilität auf die Rate urologischer Komplikationen. Weitere Informationen wie die Lokalisation der Komplikationen, zeitliches Auftreten der Komplikationen, Diagnostik und Therapien der urologischen Komplikationen wurden erfasst. Urologische Komplikationen fanden sich bei 91 Patienten (11,5%). Es handelte sich um 63 Urinfisteln und 28 Ureterstenosen. Insgesamt zeigt der Inzidenz urologischer Komplikationen im Beobachtungszeitraum keine wesentliche Änderung.

The efficient urinary drainage is necessary for kidney transplantation. Urological complications are the main risks for the functioning of the transplant kidney next to immunologic, infectios and vascular problems. The data of 794 patients after kidney transplantation in the time between 1984 and 1997 at the "Nierentransplantationszentrum" in the department of urology at the Martin-Luther-university Halle-Wittenberg were analysed retrospectively. Aim of the study was the evaluation of urinary fistula and ureteral stenosis. Factors like age of donor and recipient, attendant diseases, ischemic time, quantity of kidney transplantation and HLA compatibility were analysed compared to urologic complications. More informations were collected like localisation of the fistula or stenosis, time of appearance, diagnostic and therapy. The incidence of urological complications following kidney transplantation was 91 of 794 cases (11.5%). 63 of these were urinary fistula and 28 ureteral stenosis. The number of complications has been stable over the years, despite the fact that in the early 1990's important changes of operation technique and the protocol of immunosuppression were established.
